2017 was an off year for Flip Flop Friends, as we welcomed this bundle of joy and chaos, Kito Valentino Mazzan.  We thus were unable to make our annual trip to Magunga Primary School in Nyakach, Kisumu.  We took this year off and subsequently traveled with Kito as soon as we could. 

 

Kito was an insipiration for formalizing our efforts; we registered Flip Flop Friends as a 501c3 in December of 2018. Kito began to visit Kenya on behalf of Flip Frop Friends in 2018 at 1 year old, and did so in 2019, 2020... and beyond.
